Consistent quality, reliable choice

This was my third order from Commomy. I previously used their Faux Brick Wall Tiles for a living room accent wall and was impressed. This time, I got some Marble Effect Wall Tiles for a small bathroom. Just like before, the order process was smooth, and the delivery was prompt; arrived in about a week to Ohio. The tile quality was consistent with my last purchases, which I appreciate. Always a reliable option for DIY projects.

Kitchen backsplash project

I got some of the Subway Backsplash Tiles for my kitchen a few weeks ago, and they look pretty good. It wasn't too hard to put them up myself, even though I'm not super handy. The sticky back was strong, and they cut easily enough with a utility knife. Made a nice change without a lot of fuss.

Detailed review of RV backsplash tiles

I decided to update the small kitchen area in our RV with their RV Backsplash Tiles. Ordering was straightforward on the website, and I used their calculator to figure out how many I needed. Shipping took about 8 days to get to me in Florida, which was reasonable. The tiles themselves are PVC, not real ceramic, but they have a good texture and the adhesive seems very strong. I made sure to clean the wall thoroughly first, as recommended. Cutting them for outlets was a bit tricky but doable with a sharp utility knife from their installation kit. They seem quite waterproof; I splashed some water on them, and it just beaded up. For an RV, the lightweight and heat-resistant properties are key. Overall, a solid product for a specific need like an RV.

Great value on wood grain tiles

I was looking to update my entryway without spending a ton. I found these Wood Grain Wall Tiles and they were on sale, plus I got that 10% off for signing up for emails. The price per tile was really competitive compared to other places. Free shipping over $50 helped too. It felt like a really smart buy, and the final look is way more expensive than what I paid.

Is Commomy legit? Like, are these actual decent quality tiles or just cheap stuff that falls apart?

E Elena Patel 2 months ago
They're legit. I've bought from them twice, pretty good quality for peel and stick. Definitely not flimsy.

Yeah, they're good. Not real tile obviously, but for peel and stick they're way better than some of the super cheap stuff you find.

So are these tiles actually heat resistant? Want to put them behind my stove but don't want them melting or anything weird happening.

J Josh Marsh 2 months ago
Used them behind my stove for months, no issues at all. They hold up surprisingly well.

Yeah, they're fine. Just make sure you don't put them literally IN the flame, but for a backsplash behind a normal stove, totally good.

Does Commomy ever do any student discounts or anything like that? Trying to save some cash on a reno.

L Laura Z. 2 months ago
Afaik, they don't have a specific student discount. But sign up for their email, you usually get 10% off your first order that way.

Not for students specifically, no. But watch out for holiday sales, that's where the real savings are. I got like 30% off during Black Friday.

Hey, if I have a 10% off code from signing up for emails, can I also use it with a 'buy more save more' deal they have going on?

D Derek C. 2 months ago
Nah, usually you can only use one code at a time. So pick whichever gives you the bigger discount.

M Mia E. 2 months ago
I tried that once, didn't work. The system only lets you apply one discount code at checkout. Sucks but that's how most places are.

Anyone know if Commomy tiles are easy to take off later? Thinking of using them in a rental and don't want to mess up the walls.

D Daisy V. 2 months ago
They are pretty sticky, but if you go slow and maybe use a hairdryer to warm them up a bit, they come off without much damage. Left a little residue on my painted wall but it wiped off.

I pulled some off a couple of months ago, and they were a bit stubborn. Definitely not 'peel off in one second' easy, but didn't rip paint either. Just takes some patience.
